Is this poison ivy?

I have a rash that I think was caused by poison ivy. Gabe asked me what happened to me and I told him I got hurt by poison ivy. "What is that?" he asked. I answered, "It's a poisonous plant." "That's a plant that turned into a sting ray?" was his next question. "Yep," I laughed.

    Smart son!! I think that is what poison ivy looks like. The rash sure isn't pretty.

    So, I don't think that the plant that I photographed is poison ivy but I have no real idea what poison ivy looks like - I grew up in the desert where it doesn't grow. But the rash is from something like poison ivy.
